Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter born in Mexico was born into a family that was devoted to music. When she was a kid, she listened to a lot of classical music, as well traditional Boleros. In addition, she was a fan of classic romantic ballads, as well as traditional ranchero. Ana loves opera, tangos and all forms of dramatic performance. Her mother taught her to sing. She began intensifying her vocal instruction by Flavio Belcerra at 16 when he was a renowned Mexican opera Tenor. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was a member of many opera groups and chamber choirs. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and regularly performs as a soloist performing the traditional Latin American music at private performances. As a musician and teacher she's committed to several community initiatives due to her enthusiasm and love for music. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently teaching of The Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for being able to share her passion and passion of old-fashioned Latin American songs with others as she hopes to instill a sense of, especially among younger generations to keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
