MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer is an important player within the Latin mainstream. In the year 2017, his 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. In 2017, he released ADN which was his debut long-player for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album climbed to number 8 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. In the following year, he joined forces with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca which climbed to the top of five on the Top Latin Albums chart. He worked together with Noriel on Mala Influencia in the year 2020. He in the year following, he released his sophomore album the charting Dopamina. Later in 2021, he performed on a duet TINI on her streaming smash song Maldita Foto. The year 2023 came around and the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo is a product of a family of musicians the mother of his younger brother and father are both musicians. In his interviews, Turizo has stated that music is a must. When he was a kid, he began learning how to play the saxophone, as well as piano and ukulele. Though his original career plan was that of a veterinarian for animals, his brother Julian encouraged him to start learning to sing with an instructor in Cuban. It revolutionized his entire life.
