Rosalia

Rosalia Vila Also known as Rosalia Rosaly, is a Spanish singer from flamenco. From the time she was a teenager, Rosalia has explored the fringes of both pop and traditional music. Pepe Haichuela, flamenco guitarist and famous musician has described the sound of the new artist as sassy and sweet but with bite. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist the follow-up album for 2018 El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success topping the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and finally getting the Grammy. The track La Fama featuring the Weeknd was released in 2021. Motomami was her third album that was full-length. It included collaborations on songwriting with other performers and producers like Cory Henry. The set came out in March 2022 after an Saturday Night Live performance featuring the song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish artist to sing solo on the show. Motomami, Rosalia's album that has won three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female singer to receive an award for Latin Album of the Year win twice.
